Yes, drink packages are available on all MSC Cruises ships, however Asia and 3-nights sailings in the USA will not offer drink packages

Are gratuities included in the drinks package cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All MSC Cruises' pre-paid and post-paid drink packages include gratuities.

Can drinks packages be used on Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all drink packages can be consumed in Ocean Cay island.  The Ocean Cay beverage offering may not include the full onboard beverage selection.

Will you serve alcohol on cruises calling on Saudi Arabian ports?

Accepted Answer

Please be advised that in respect to the Saudi Law, alcohol will not be served during the Calls in Saudi Arabian ports. Alcohol will be available to our guests when the ship sails in International Waters.

Which packages can be used in Specialty Restaurants?

Accepted Answer

All packages can be used in Buffet Restaurants, main Restaurants and Bars. But only the following ones can also be used in the Specialty Restaurants: 
 
•	Easy Plus Package 
•	Premium Extra Package 
 
 Minors package  can be consumed in specialty restaurants too if the minor’s family/group purchased the Easy Plus or Premium Extra packages.

If an adult purchases a drinks package, are underage guests required to do the same thing as well?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Minors Package must be purchased for all under age guests travelling with adults who purchase a beverage package. Applicable for minors aged 3-17 on European itineraries and 3-20 on North American and Caribbean itineraries.

Question 10

If guests wish to dine together at the same table, whether traveling in separate cabins as individuals or as part of a group, is it necessary for them to reserve the same drinks package?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in order for all guests to dine together at the restaurant, they must all subscribe to the same drinks package.  
This means that if one guest chooses a certain drinks package, all other guests who wish to dine together with them must book the same type of drinks package (Easy, Premium, ...). 
This ensures a consistent dining experience for all members of the group. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked.

Can I upgrade my drink package?

Guests will be able to upgrade their beverage packages to Easy, Easy Plus and Premium Extra  prior to embarkation.

What drink package is included in the MSC Yacht Club?

Accepted Answer

The Premium Extra Package is included with the MSC Yacht Club experience on all cruises. 
 Please note:  In line with our responsible drinking policies, a daily limit of 15 alcoholic beverages per guest applies both within and outside the exclusive MSC Yacht Club area.

Yes, all drink packages can be purchased before the cruise by benefiting of a 15% discount vs onboard prices.

If I choose a drink not included in the package, do I pay a full price?

Accepted Answer

No. Guests who purchase alcoholic all-inclusive beverage packages Easy, Easy Plus, or Premium Extra, and who want to enjoy  
cocktails, spirits and/or wines by the glass that are not included in their package, will pay only the price difference between the  
package allowance and the  à la carte  price of ordered drinks.

Easy Plus, Premium Extra, Alcohol-Free Packages

Beverage packages are not transferrable and may not be shared with other guests, being valid for one beverage only per each order. Violation of these terms may result in cancellation of a guest's package without eligibility for a refund or credit of any kind. Packages are sold on a per cruise basis and not a per day or any other basis. Pricing applies to each day of the cruise, except for disembarkation day. Once activated on board, packages cannot be terminated or refunded. Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin, travelling together and wishing to dine at the same table. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants under three years of age.  The following exclusions apply : tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar and signature venues, including Venchi 1878 establishments, Lavazza Coffee Shops, Jean Philippe Chocolate, Coffee, Crepes & Gelato, regardless of beverage price, room service and promotions. Must be of legal age to consume alcohol - see our terms of our guest alcohol policy. Other conditions & terms may apply. Beverages and liquors may be substituted based on availability and itinerary.
